Bobby Lashley is in the ring, and the crowd is chanting his name. Lashley says it didn’t need to end this way with MVP. For a long time, he considered MVP to be his family. At Hell in a Cell, they had every advantage against him, but he overcame it. You never say anything when your enemies make a mistake. The biggest mistake MVP made was stabbing him in the back. It felt damn good to put MVP in the Hurt Lock. Now that he has MVP and Omos in his rearview mirror, Lashley was thinking about what is next.
WWE United States Champion Theory comes out. Theory doesn’t know what authority allowed Lashley to come out and steal his spotlight, but this is his time. Theory deserves the spotlight, not Lashley. Lashley is only out here because someone helped him win his match. Theory is out here because he won his match all by himself. Theory gets in the ring and tells Lashley to get out of “his ring.” Theory says he wants a selfie first. Lashley says this ring belongs to him and they can settle this like gentlemen. Theory says they can have a match, but first, he can check out his bicep. Theory poses, so Lashley flexes his enormous bicep. Lashley says if Theory is so confident he can beat him, he can put the United States Title on the line. Theory says Lashley doesn’t deserve a title match. Sure, he’s beaten Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton, but he hasn’t beaten Mr. McMahon’s protege, the youngest United States Champion in WWE history. Theory goes to take a selfie, so Lashley boots him out of the ring. Lashley tells him to take a walk.
